If so what are you playing right now? Which games are you looking forward to?

I've been playing a lot of the Sims 3. I got the woohooer mod and my sims decided to have "risky woohoo" in the shower with their free will. The settings are set so there's only like a 2% chance. Yup, they got knocked up on the first try. It's okay though because they had a cute orange fairy baby (mom was a blue fairy and dad is a white human so no idea how she turned out orange).

I've also been having a lot of fun with Scribblenauts Unlimited, but don't have any funny stories to tell about that. I've tried to ignore what games are being released this summer so I won't want to buy any lol.

I'm a closet gamer. Reformed.
I want to play so badly lol but I don't, cause I don't want to spend the money on the games lol.

But my kids have an xbox, a wii and a desktop... all with their games.

I'm not but I am surrounded.
It's kinda funny to watch the 3 of them playing Minecraft next to each other yelling, "Get out of my house!"
Scribblenauts is awesome tho... We got it so the 8 yo would spell more

DH buys whats on sale at some site that gives daily deals (I am sure you know what I am talking about). The 8yo wanted Sims so he got Sims 8.

DH's ex BIL used to work for WOW so he has a free account so they all start up and then go a while not doing it.

And then there is the table top role playing...

I just don't think I got that gene. Kinda wish I did but I didn't.

Me, my little sister, my DH, and my best friend's DH would all sit around playing Minecraft together. Once my little sister and I filled my best friend's DH's house with probably 200 chickens as a prank.

I'm guessing you are talking about Steam?

I actually met DH on WoW but we haven't played for years. After cataclysm it was just not the same. Also my account got hacked and then banned and I refuse to start over.

Used to be a gamer. Dh and I played EQ2 together for years, but quit when they went free to play and our server went to hell with all the new people.

We still play wii games- right now we are obsessed with the Lego series- Harry potter, batman, Star Wars, pirates of the Caribbean, etc

I was lurking as usual and saw this post and had to respond. I was a big time gamer a few years ago, and I actually met DH in a video game called Shadowbane and then played with him through WoW. I have quit since then - focusing more on my graduate degree, but I do occasionally play Call of Duty on our xbox for some mindless fun.

Love that! I'd consider getting the server maintenance one if it wasn't common knowledge how much work we're going to have to do to have kids. Unless of course there is server maintenance at the time of transfer coincidentally.

I think you're the only person I've seen mention they liked it. Most people I've talked to are the very least underwhelmed. I've also seen a lot of people making fun of it. I'm not a console person so haven't payed much attention to it.

I am an on-again, off-again player of Sims 3. I am DYING for them to come out with SimCity for Mac, since they keep putting it off.

We also have a Wii and an original Nintendo, but DH doesn't play them much and I am just terrible at any of the real "games" (not just like, the exercise games we have).
