I've recently started journaling daily as a challenge to myself to try to rebuild my faith because God knows it's been rocked hard over the past 5 years of TTC and one loss! So, as suggested by my dear SIL who has been through similar trials, every day I look up an inspiring verse or read the one she sends me, then journal it and write about it and how I'm feeling. So far it's been less than a week, but I'd like to share my journey as I dig out of this dark place I've gotten my spirit in. And maybe along the way this will help someone else. So if you've got 'em, post your favourite verse and help life someone's spirit!
Here' smile from two days ago. I LOVE it and hope you will too!
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Oh man, I LIVE by Phillipians 4:6-7 I seriously have to remind myself daily.
Reading through Romans is also incredibly helpful.
Remembering that even through the crap, when we feel lost and confused... That HE is grieving with us. He never meant for it to look like this, and it will never be perfect until we get to Heaven. Until then, he DOES work all things together for the good, for those who love Him. (Romans 8:28) and I certainly do love Him. I don't know how anyone can go through these kinds of times without the assurance and peace of The Lord.
New International Version (NIV)
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.
