I started back and then fell off the last couple weeks. But I definitely plan to get back to it starting next week. I don't typically work out when pregnant but due to being a few pounds overweight I really want to try and stay more fit this time. On top of the fact I am fast approaching mid thirties so I need to stay on top of my fitness more.
I am going to keep working out. I just started about 6 months ago and lost all of my baby weight so I am hoping to keep the weight gain minimal and keep working out so I can stay in shape. I don't plan on doing anything too intense. Walking, some jogging, mild weight lifting and biking.
I actually instruct at a gym. I teach indoor cycling (Les Mills RPM). Les Mills is the owner of Body Combat! I will be teaching up until it is time to deliver. According to my physician exercise is encouraged and you can keep doing what you have been doing. We had one of our really hardcore instructors teach all of her classes (cardio, dance, step, cycling, weight lifting) until 3 days before she had her last baby. Needless to say that woman is my HERO.
Expecting our first child in February... Team pink!

Missing my puppy, but grateful to have shared a bond with her for two years.
I'm very overweight, but I've been walking regularly before I got pregnant so I'm going to continue walking with this one. In fact, I just walked about a mile today and felt energized by it, not tired at all. I might add some light cardio to my routine. I'm not going to try to lose weight, I just want to improve my chances of vbac and keep my weight gain lower than with my first.
Mom to a 2 year old baby girl, 2 week old baby boy, and one in Heaven.
In loving memory of our angel baby, with us for 4 weeks. Baby went to be with God July 24th, 2009.
Thank you SmilingSam! I feel a lot better I LOVE RPM and body combat, I seriously do not know what I would do if I could not exercise to those classes. My instructor who teaches both classes is my hero and love her to pieces. She is also my personal trainer, so next week when I tell her I am PG, hopefully she will show my things to do throughout my PG.
I started eating clean and have been working out for a few months. I plan to continue the healthy eating (for the most part, I'll have to give into a few cravings) , yoga, walking, and my DVD workout. I'm about 10 lbs under my pregnancy weight at 6 months pp but still weigh 212 lbs, my goal is to gain as little weight as possible, so I'll need to stay active.
I was hugely into running last year, but had a herniated disc in my upper back that sidelined me for nearly a year. I have been running again now for about a month and am averaging 6-10 miles per week. I am going to try to up that to around 15/week and stay there for the duration. I just ran 3.5 yesterday after work and it felt great!
