It's so weird! Before I was pregnant I used to always LOVE sweets! If we were at a party or something where there were cookies, cake, brownies etc i would be ALL over them! I would have always chosen some type of a dessert over one of the other snacks.
Not anymore! I could take or leave it. I'd rather 'real' food than sweets. I even went to a baby shower this morning where I took one bite of cake and that was it- I just didn't want it!
I suppose it's better for me to not have a lot of sweets anyways!

Has anybody else noticed a change in what they want to eat?

Yes! Except I don't want to eat anything. Nothing sounds good. Except now that you mention sweets I really want these snickerdoodle blondies that I make!

I'm right there with you. It's torture! I know I used to love cakes and cookies but now all of that is just...eh. I had the BIGGEST sweet tooth ever and now it's GONE.

I'm the same way with sweets right now. I also have been gagging at the thought of eating chicken for some reason. I have some in my fridge and I told DH if he doesn't cook it soon I will throw it away because everytime I open the fridge I gag.

Yep. Nothing sounds good to me, but I used to have the biggest sweet tooth ever, and now the thought of anything sweet makes me feel sooooo sick, it's kind of sad.

I would count that as a good thing myself! I haven't been wanting sweets as much as usual but i still crave chocolate which has always been my weakness. I know what you mean though, i went from loving sweets to now i don't care either way if i eat them. However I would go for some cheesecake right about now

I love to bake but nothing sweet sounds good to me right now. The only thing I have been able to eat lately are french fries and pizza but I can only take a few bites before I start to feel sick.

With my first pregnancy I hated sweets. The taste, smell or thought of anything sweet made me sick. This time I want sweet stuff all the time. A lot of my favorite foods taste horrible right now though. A weird thing, I've always liked spicy but not too spicy food, but I'm no where near as sensitive to spicy foods right now. Nothing is hot enough for me- hot salsa, lots of hot buffalo sauce, jalapeños, etc- none of it taste spicy at all to me. Dh thinks I'm crazy because I couldn't handle that much spice before pregnancy.

I'm glad I'm not alone! I've also been craving some more spice than usual- I usually get mild flavored salsa etc but lately I've been getting the hot! Yum!
