9 week u/s... I am measuring 8 wk, 6 days. Heartbeat 182. DH was amazed that it can be that high and still be OK for the baby.
At my last appointment, my blood pressure was a little high, but today it was perfect!
Although when the doctor started talking to me about coming in every few weeks just to have my bp checked, I asked if the nurse took my bp today. She said that the nurse entered a number but I had NO MEMORY OF HER DOING IT!!!
So she came back in and took it again and told me about the conversation we had when she was taking it. That part I remembered, but no the actual cuff on my arm. I guess this is the start of preggo brain.
Anyway, I've scheduled my first prenatal exam for August 8. I'm surprised she wanted to wait that long, but ok... it must be a good sign that she thinks things are going well... right???
I'm so happy to see an update from you. Sounds like everything is going just as it should. No worries about the late appointment. Mostly what they will do is learn your history and collect bloodwork, if I recall correctly.
Expecting our first child in February... Team pink!

Missing my puppy, but grateful to have shared a bond with her for two years.
Congrats! I have high blood pressure and must be monitored frequently. Just keep an eye on it since pregnancy can cause high blood pressure (preeclampsia). If your really concerned, buy a home blood pressure monitor.
