So who here is still taking their prenatal vitamins everyday? Are you taking prescription vitamins or over the counter? Do they ever make you sick?

I am taking my prenatals everyday. I was on a brand that made me sick so my dr gave me a bunch of samples and I finally found a prescription brand that doesn't make me sick. makes taking them everyday so much easier.

I just finished the bottle I had bought for myself over the counter when I found out I was pregnant and I still have a few boxes of the Rx samples my doc gave me as I hardly ever remember to take them... :/
I've yet to find one that makes me sick though.

I'm lucky to actually get 2 days in a row. I normally wind up taking them about every other day. ~sigh~ Must get better. >_>

I'm pretty good about taking them, I miss a day here and there. I take over the counter one a day prenatals. I take them before bed, so they don't make me sick.

I take over the counter. My insurance won't cover them. I usually remember to take them every day. I have to take them with breakfast though or I won't remember.

I take an OTC prenatal + DHA and then I take an additional folic acid. I probably don't need to but it's cheap and I would rather just pee out the extra than not absorb enough from the vitamin itself.

I'm taking two gummy flinstones a day plus my prescription vitamin of nexaplus the dr gave me that's suppose to help with morning sickness. I miss a day here and there but I've gotten better at it. I was taking them all at night but I've been taking them every morning again since the morning sickness has gotten better.

Since about week 14 or 15 I've been taking prenatals. I have a prescription but they can be bought over the counter here. I'm good about taking mine everyday.

I have those whole foods based rainbow light prenatals this time around. I can take store bought too, neither make me sick due to ingredients. I do sometimes get sick from gagging too hard while taking those giant horse pills. The first company that makes an equally potent once a day prenatal in a small form, I will happily go straight to the store and buy. The only prenatals that are fine for every day is the gummy kind. I don't take them every day, gummy or tablet, simply because I just forget to, but I do try to take it at least every two days.

I take mine every day with breakfast so I don't forget. I take the OTC one a day, and they don't make me sick at all. I've been taking them since we started TTC.

I take over the counters. I'm much better about taking my vitamin D though. My doctor didn't care one way or the other about me taking prenatals, just the vitamin D.

Im horrible.... I took them all the time the first three months, now they are still making me sick, so I have slacked off tremendously. I was taking the Similac brand because they have everything in them. I am going to try to start making myself take them again, or try a different brand. Those would literally even wake me up out of a solid sleep because they made me sick.
