After we told everyone we were expecting I started getting the "Do you want a girl or boy?" question. Which I don't mind at all. I was honest and said I prefer a girl but would be just as happy with a boy. Now I'm being told it looks like I'm carrying a boy from the same people that asked. Grrr!! I know it's so stupid to get upset over that and honestly it really doesn't matter what baby is, but I can't help but wonder if they asked so they could say the opposite just to irritate me?! I'm not even showing enough to predict girl or boy off the old wives tale! Now I'm highly debating whether or not I should pay $100 to go to a private ultrasound place or just suck it up and wait patiently until my ultrasound in less than two weeks.

I am going to go ahead and blame my irritability on pregnancy hormones.

People always drive me crazy with gender predictions. I carried both my boys differently so that old wives tale is crap. I would just wait since your scan is so soon and save the money to buy things for baby.

It drives me crazy!! And who asked them anyway??? I'm trying to be patient but it doesn't feel so soon! It's funny how when we weren't going to find out I had no problem waiting but now that we have decided to find out I'm on pins and needles anxious to know.

Ooh jeez. That would annoy me! It's nonsense anyway, but why ask if they are just going to tell you other things!
People are stupid. And it gets worse somehow when you're pregnant.

This is why i never ever ever answer the what do you hope it is question.

People are just plain silly. My mom did the same thing. She asked me and when I said girl she started telling me about all her friends daughters who were having boys and it's the season for boys. Then when I told her it was a boy her first response was "I knew it but didn't want to say anything to you." Yeah you knew it right after I told you! People are just silly and the reality is no matter what they say they have a 50% chance of being right. Ignore them is what I say.

seriously..... It does seem like that! I had the same thing happen... I'm not annoyed that people question if I want to know the gender and when I do tell them I do want a girl this time they go and say boy!... Not like it would matter to me in anyway.. I won't get heart broken if it's a boy. But then why ask me? Silly people... ;P

I don't mind getting asked either, but don't ask me and right after say it's going to be the completely opposite based off what little belly I have. I think some people just like getting others worked up. :-)

Alot of people have foot in mouth disease. They should just keep their mouth shut and not say anything at all.
