so I dont have great teeth to start with but to top it off I get pregnancy gingivitis. (did with connor and am now with kylie) so for the last few days my gums have been kiling me but today was by far the worst I can barely chew my food and my mouth fills up with blood from all the cuts......... oh and the best part is basicly the only solution is finish my pregnancy yeay for 4 months of mashed potoatos or crying over my plate anytime i try something differnt.

to add a cherry on top I got sick from taking my son to his 1 year well check so my glands and checks are swollen and anytime I manage to position my mouth so i dont scrape my gums I end up biteing my cheeks.......that and Im insainly cold natured to start with but its way worse when im sick and my better half refuses to turn the ac down becuse its oppressive and if im cold i should just put warmer clothes on (im in fleece pants)

oh but i havent actually gotten to the good part yet no that whould be that the apt to get connors lip tie cliped was today and i stubbornly demanded we go anyway even though my better half said it was a crappy Idea. I really wanted to get in because it had already been delayed once though. turns out the pediatrician scheduled the appt with an ENT that doesnt even do lip ties. hes only willing to do full restriction tongue ties which connor doesnt have. he said he chould refer use to a local pediatric dentist but that he knows the local one only clipps when they are older becuse "most the time it will just fix itself" great turns out theres only 2 doctors in my state that are willing to fix the type of tie Connor has becuse thay actually reconize that it can cause complications (which he has all of). neither except my insurance and nether are close enough for use to actually go to.

sorry im particuallerly moody today I know in the grand scheme of things its not that big of a deal but i want my pitty party

I am so sorry about your hard day. Your gums sound painful. My bleed alot more during pregnancy but nothing like what you are going through. could just give you more reason to eat more ice cream and milk shakes..lol. Although that wouldn't help with you being cold I guess. I am always cold but I would kick my DH's rear end if he tried to turn the ac down when I'm freezing. he knows better than to touch it.

I hope you are able to get it worked out so they can fix your sons lip tie. I have heard that it can cause complications.

Aww sorry for the rough day! My gums bled terribly when I was pregnant with my son and I remember I needed to get them cleaned 3 times with one of them being a deep cleaning. I hated it. This time around I'm having better luck and although I'm not sure why, I'm not complaining. Good luck and have your pity party! Hope things brighten up for you soon!

I hear ya on the bleeding gums thing. Heard its from our blood flow focusing on baby. Last time I got a really bad tooth infection in one of my wisdom teeth and needed it pulled. Was I couldnt stop crying pain, I could barely speak but thankfully the emerg on call dentist I got is used to muffled speaking and knew what I was saying lol. I mustve told him 50 times I was 26 weeks pregnant and was worried the freezing and antibiotics were safe, think I started to annoy him after awhile lol. I think thats why she was born with thrush, I didnt know of probiotics at that time. My gingivitis never stopped me from eating though, thats gotta bite the big one :/

PS now I want mashed potatoes.
