Okey dokey. I'm 35 weeks tomorrow (ignore the ticker, it's a bit ahead). I had an appt yesterday. My weight looks good (I weighed myself at the gym, up only 25 lbs). My belly is measuring right on schedule. This was the appointment that I saved all of my questions for.
I found out that I can opt for the heplock until if/when I need IV. He has no problem with me laboring at home after water breaks IF I am not GBS positive. We will screen for that next appointment. My doc answered some of my questions about c sections, new procedures, infection risk, blood monitoring, and what happens to the baby after delivery. My doctor is AWESOME. He even gave me a RX for some cortisone suppositories to try and shrink my hemorrhoids. I LOVE this man.
So I'm feeling ready. Nursery is almost ready. Body is in good shape... Now...just need to wait 36 more days for baby. (Have I mentioned that we still don't have a name?!)
Expecting our first child in February... Team pink!

Missing my puppy, but grateful to have shared a bond with her for two years.
I got the heplock - which was great. I could move around, get in the tub, shower, but at the very end of my labor, when they needed to give me IV meds, it was simple to hook me up to them. I recommend this.
Sounds like you are in great shape!
(oh and we didn't have a name either - DH said I could name my first born while I was on the operating table).
