My 39 week check up and growth scan was yesterday. He was very uncooperative as usual for the scan lol. We still have no clue really what he looks like. We've never gotten a look at his face. The growth scan measured him at 8 pounds 7 ounces, but I know those growth scans can be off. What I could see of him was awfully cute. Head down, face down positioning (yay!) but he does tend to lie oblique and fluid levels were great.

I saw a different OB from my regular one because he was on call. This different OB seemed to think my pelvis could have handled my 9 pound daughter if she was positioned better after I explained to him the circumstances of my csection with her. That was nice to hear. What was odd though was my regular OB at my last appointment said I'm a little dilated and that he could have made me a 1 if he forced the issue. This OB though said I wasn't dilated at all. When I mentioned that to my mom, she said some OBs won't count anything less than a solid one as being dilated. That makes sense. I think I'm going to go with my regular OB there.

Still having a lot of Bh contractions. They're not painful, just a little annoying. I'm hoping they pick up soon.

Glad everything seems to be going good. I know my OB won't usually say any dialation unless you are 1cm so your mom is probably right. And I know those growth scans can be off. My dr said they can be off by as much as a one pound.

I'm thinking so, too about the dilation thing. My OB though was pleasantly surprised that I was even slightly opened. With no change though.. I really hope my body picks up and makes some more progress. I hear growth scans can be so off, so I'm not really banking on the weight they gave me. I have another appointment on Feb 6. I hope I don't make it to that lol.
