Do you use any kind of white noise when you or when your kids sleep?

We have air purfiers in all of our bedrooms. We started using them because of allergies that we have but now none of us can sleep without them. I have to take them on vacation or our kids don't sleep much. We don't have any kind of other white noise machines.

We have a white noise machine we use for Frankie, he won't sleep without it. But today I heard that you shouldn't use white noise machines because they could damage baby's hearing, I'm not sure what we'll do because he needs it go sleep and we don't have it up that loud. I don't think we will use one with Ronin though. I use a fan every night because I can't sleep without the noise.

Nope I don't want her to get used to anything like that and trying to wean her away from it. She sleeps pretty well anyway.

I can't sleep without a tv on. Bad habit I started in high school. Now I have to be dead dead tired to sleep without one. I don't do well sleeping away from home without a tv.

I know lots of people that sleep with a fan on and can't sleep anywhere else without one. I'd like to avoid any dependence like that with my kids if I can. But if I have to I have to I guess.

I also can't sleep without a tv on. And the girls sleep in our room-- but the volume is super low.
