Now that our baby's are almost 2 months old, how if your baby sleeping? Are they still sleeping alot or are they awake more?

Christian still sleeps alot. He will be up for about an hour then back to sleep for 2 or 3 hours. thankfully at night he is sleeping one 5 hour stretch which helps with my exhaustion.
shell1981 and cmax01 like this.

Addie will be 3 months on the 16th, she takes a lot of short naps through the day but has a lot of awake time too. She usually takes 1 long nap, she'll fall asleep in the van at 1:15 when I go pick my son up from pre k and usually stays asleep til about 4. At night she sleeps from about 9:30-4 in her bassinet then in bed with me til 7. Last night she stayed in her bassinet till 5:30.

Ivy fights sleep like crazy. She somehow knows when it's nighttime cause she only wants to sleep with me......unless she fought sleep alllll day and passes out. Where she wants to nap changes all the time too. Sometimes in her carseat, bouncy seat, swing, playpen, etc. Right now she wants too sleep in her swing turned off with loud music on. Whatever works........I'll eventually work on getting her to sleep in her crib, but if I do that now I wont get any sleep as I think shes hit a growth spurt and wants to eat several times a night and as long as shes with me she doesnt cry when put down, and I dont have to get out of bed.

I'm jealous of the people who have babies that sleep long stretches of time! Autumn usually sleeps for about three hours in a row. Sometimes it's only two, sometimes we luck out and get four.

How much do you feed your LO before you put him/her to bed? Autumn only eats 3 oz at a time (otherwise she spits it up), and my pediatrician suggested that she doesn't sleep longer stretches of time because she eats smaller amounts more frequently.

My last baby was up every 2-3 hours til he was 18 months! It was horrible. I'm glad Addie sleeps better than he did lol.

She cluster feeds in the evening before bed, no clue how many ounces because she nurses.

18 months of that? You poor thing -- I can't imagine! I'm exhausted from just 2.5 months of it! Autumn did sleep about five hours in a row last night (a record for her), so hoping that's a good sign.

Nursing didn't work for us, so I do pump exclusively. I know babies who drink breastmilk need to eat more often. Sometimes I think how nice it'd be to just switch to formula (pumping 8 times a day, on top of feeding her with bottles, is not fun!), but so far I'm hanging in there.

Two nights in a row, slept 10pm to 6am. I'm only getting 6hrs. I'm still tired. Guess I gotta wait for the 12hr stretches to finally catch up? :/

Isla will be 3 months on 23 rd. She's always been a great sleeper. During the day she feeds every 3 hours. Takes about 4 ozs. She has a pattern of 2 hours awake, then 20 minute naps all day. Then at 5 she has an hour. Then cluster feeds until 8.30 when she goes to bed. She then sleeps until 6 in the morning. Has about 2 ozs then sleeps until 9. She used to scream every evening from about 5-10. It was awful, but that seems to have passed now. She's showing her sunny personality now.
