Anybody's baby already trying to crawl?

Christian is a long way from crawling. He can't yet sit on his own. He is rolling over pretty good but not ready to crawl and I'm not in any hurry. Makes things harder when he starts crawling because now I can lay him on his mat and he will play there when he starts crawling I've got to make sure that my other two boys have their toys put up that Christian could choke on. That's what I'm going to work on next weekend, trying to put up any small toys that Christian could hurt himself on.

Ronin is not anywhere close to crawling. He sits unassisted now and can roll but refuses to. I think we have a while before he crawls which I'm fine with. I'm in no hurry to have two little ones to chase around.

Addie scoots around a bit but it's so hard to have her on the floor much with 8 older siblings and 2 dogs. Now that the majority of the kids started back to school today she'll have much more opportunity for floor time. I guarantee she'll be crawling within the week. Guess i better get the stair gate up! This mama isn't ready for another mobile one quite yet lol.

My son is getting up on all fours and doing the rocking thing. We just got new hardwood floors to replace our old nasty carpet so he's having trouble getting moving on it, but when we get a rug down, I expect he'll be crawling right away.

Liam has been zipping around for a few weeks now. It was quite a surprise for us because his sister was nearly 10 months old before she started crawling. Just have to keep reminding ourselves that every baby is different.
