I don't have my 12 week check up for another week, but I need some answers! I've been having dull lower back pain for a few days now. Is this anything to worry about, (I'm 11w5d)? I've also noticed that when I sneeze, the sudden contraction of muscles around my uterus causes a...soreness. It isn't a sharp pain, but enough of a pain that I'm concerned. Any other mothers get this?
Lurking from april, but YES normal i had so many aches and pains with my first, including the back pain, and those mild pains when sneezing, I get those this time too with my 3rd, that's round ligament pain most probably. Your uterus is stretching, moving growing SO much right now, in ways it never has before and it makes sense for there to be some aches along with that. According to my midwife, most of the time if something is wrong, you wont' have to ask, you will KNOW. Like the pain will be strong enough to start wanting pain killers, and/or bright red bleeding.
From what I understand/read, it's normal. I've been having pains where I've always had ovarian cyst pain. I was told that's where some of the round ligaments are, and they're just stretching. I was concerned I was getting a cyst again.
