I am 16 weeks and 4 days pregnant and have recently started feeling "flutters". I would more describe it as a poking feeling, and as I am typing this the baby is quite active kicking for like 5 minutes straight haha. What would others describe this feeling as?

A poke would be a good way to describe it. I always told my husband it felt like someone was flicking me but not hard. Just a quick thump! Lol

Yea, it feels like something tapping or poking me on the inside. It's pretty cool!

The best way to describe the early movement to people who have never been pregnant is that it feels kinda like gas. lol Sometimes it's hard to tell if it's air moving around or the baby.

I started feeling movement at 17 weeks last time, I'm 15 weeks now and I am sure I've felt something a few times this week. Like little tiny thumps. Nothing today though I can't wait until I'm really feeling it that's my favourite part.

I swore I was feeling movement around 10-11 weeks, but nothing since. My dr told me you usually feel them around 18 weeks with your first, 16 with your second. So I should be feeling them any day!

Im about 16 too, but no definate moves yet. Ive suspected for weeks now, but can never confirm for sure its not my crazy digestion. I think i felt my last babe around 18 weeks or so (kind of late for not being my first) so im trying to be patient.

This is my first baby and I'm starting to differentiate between the baby and gas. The baby will be lower down whereas gas is more in the middle of my belly. I'll usually feel it about 5 minutes after I eat or drink something haha and sometimes it goes on for minutes!! I think I'm going to have quite an active child lol

My first I started feeling at 14 weeks - this one I'm almost postive I started feeling it around 11-12 weeks and now at 14 weeks the baby flutters around so much that when I'm laying down at night it's tickling me on the inside! Lol i guess I'm the exception to the rule on feeling my babies so early on, but all of you will get there!

I love feeling my little peanut move! i can't wait for my fiance to be able to feel it to! it is always a couple of minutes after i eat or drink something and lay down, then it feels like i guess butterflies under my skin...instead of in my stomach lol it just helps reassure that he/she is ok. I feel like the movements are getting stronger every day or maybe I just want them too haha

Around 15 weeks now. The baby woke me up with two pokes last night. Definitely wasn't gas. It didn't feel anything like gas.
