Willow Emily was born on Friday morning (March 14) at 1:08 am. She was 6lbs and 21 inches long. She's so tiny I can't get over it, my son was almost a pound and a half heavier. I have like one sleeper that fits her .
Wishing all the still pregnant ladies a safe delivery!
Willow is a beautiful name. Aw, shes such a little peanut. Very happy for you!
I am especially excited to hear how things have gone this week because i remember you are the other mom intending to try trandem nursing.
She is nursing very well, my milk came in by day 3. We had our follow-up on Tuesday and she was back up to 5lbs 14oz (was 5 10 when we left the hospital Saturday).
By the end of pregnancy my son had actually stopped nursing completely out of frustration with my low supply on his part. I am thinking about reintroducing but have held off. He recently started sleeping through the night again just before Willow was born and I only intended to nurse him at night any way. Good luck with tandem!
I see why you would be reluctant to reintroduce it now then, lol, since he started sleeping well at night. My daughter has still been dependant on nursing for comfort (even with no milk at all currently) and she usually wakes twice a night still. So im pretty nervous about my upcoming sleep arrangements with both of them! Hehe. But excited too.
Glad to hear Willow is off to a great start! And cute picture.
