I know we all crave those sweets or chips or something, but what's some healthy foods you have been craving or just have to have so far in your pregnancy?
Mine is green beans and asparagus! DH was supposed to make asparagus last night for dinner. We have this great recipe where we saute it with cherry tomatoes and parmesan cheese and it is delicious. Well, I got my heart set on asparagus last night and I went in the kitchen and was soooooooooooooooo disappointed when there was no asparagus I'll be making dinner tonight to make sure I get my asparagus! LOL
None really, although I did see asparagus in the store and wanted to buy some, but they're so expensive and the busshels are so big and DD doesn't eat it. I have a recipe where I mince some fresh garlic, add olive oil, pepper, and grated parm and roast the asparagus. YUMMY!
We have delicious green beans at my work, though there is nothing healthy about it being cooked in a ton of butter and garlic. We even had brussel sprouts once and took ALL the health out of it, it was cooked in bacon fat with bacon in it...
However I am really liking broccoli and strawberries, whenever I walk by someone prepping them for something at work I always snag some.
