Post your menu for the day! This will help us get some ideas for healthy snacks, meals, etc.

B: Lean Pocket with Sausage, Egg, and Cheese
S: Banana and some apple juice
L: Mexican casserole topped with sour cream (This is made with corn tortillas, refried beans, enchilada sauce, ground turkey, and mexican cheese blend...it's so good!)
S: Applesauce, possibly carrots/hummus although this hasn't been sounding good lately
D: White Chicken Chili that is in the crockpot cooking while I'm at work.

For breakfast i had a bowl of frosted mini wheats.
Lunch im probably going to have a salad and maybe some soup too.
Dinner we're having roast, potatoes and carrots....cooking as we speak
I may have a banana or some chips n salsa for a snack. Maybe an apple....we shall see

Oh yeah, I packed an apple in my lunch too. I had strawberry frosted mini wheats yesterday. Yum!

I should have put a disclaimer on my first post that **all items are subject to change depending on mood, nausea, etc.** LOL!

Frozen burritos are so good! I love the bean and cheese ones. I usually put some extra cheese on top. Yum!

I had a banana and a blueberry waffle for breakfast with lots of water to drink.
Lunch was blackened chicken Alfredo left over from dinner last night. Snack will be an apple and peanut butter.
Dinner will have to be a frozen meal to bring to work probably a stuffed green pepper. Will bring some pistachios and chips n salsa tosnack on also.

Today wasn't as healthy as it could have been, but it also could have been a lot worse!

B: Kashi Go Lean cereal with 2% milk.
L: 1/2 BLT sandwich with tons of tomato and lettuce plus a few french fries
S: Sourdough pretzels (just a few)
D: Salad with romaine, carrots, a little bacon, olives, and cheese. Quesadilla with fresh tortillas and mexican blend cheese.
S: Small bean burrito because I was still hungry after dinner.

Hubby is thinking about going out to get some ice cream. Haha!

Oh my gosh I miss being hungry. Breakfast: muffin Lunch: 3 saltines and 3 bites of cream of wheat. Supper: God, I hope so.
I'm dying for some Chicken Enchilada soup, but I'm terrified of how bad it'd be if it was sent back by the little peach. Ugh...

Today so far:
b: 2 eggs scrambled with 2 mushrooms and handful of fresh baby kale, water/vitamins
early lunch: small bowl of bean/corn/raisin vegan dish my Mom made with a dab of hummus on top (yum!!)
afternoon snack: salad of kale/spinach, cucumber, raw broccoli, sprinkle of raisins, sprinkle of evoo and balasmic vinegar
d: 3 oz of chicken, cooked veggies, 1/2 c. brown rice
after dinner sn: berry/spinach/kale smoothie (wish I had some yogurt to put in it!)

I'm trying to be extra healthy since I've gained more weight than I wanted to by now. I wanted to be up about 5 lbs and I'm up about 8. I'm determined to only gain 28 or so instead of the 44 with my girls. I'm trying to now follow the Best-Odds diet in the "What to eat when you are expecting" book. I just got it yesterday at the library but it looks good.

breakfast: apple plus homemade granola with soy milk, bananas, and canned peaches

lunch: A big taco salad with a piece of toast and jam and an apple for dessert.

I only eat 2 meals a day. Sometimes I'll have something in the evening if I need it, fruit, toast, or some kind of leftovers, but today lunch was late enough that I won't

Today for breakfast I had blueberry yogurt and a bowl of cheerios with a banana.
Lunch was tomato soup and a tuna fish sandwich on wheat with a slice of cheese.
Dinner will be leftover chili I made yesterday and probably just an apple or chip and salsa for a snack

Ok, since I semi-planned my menu out today I will post it.

B: Breakfast burrito with eggs, hash browns, and a little bacon. These are frozen and easy for me to heat up before leaving for work.
S: Carrots with avocado ranch dip, low fat cottage cheese with pineapple chunks
L: Leftovers from the hibachi grill: Chicken and Shrimp, fried rice, lots of veggies
S: Probably some sort of snack on the way home from work
D: Toasted bagel with melted cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, and sun dried tomato spread
S: Usually some kind of snack after dinner

Breakfast: A bowl of Special K Red Berry at home, then a slice of toast with peanut butter at work (the cereal doesn't keep me full anymore). A tea with half and half and one sugar.

Snack: So far, a few mini Caramilk bars :S I also have canned pears and an apple sauce cup in the fridge

Lunch: Bacon and Tomato toasted sandwich(es)

Snack: ??...probably won't be healthy

Supper: Spaghetti casserole

Sigh....I'm definitely not a healthy eater. I need to get it under control before I end up huge. I have already gained like 12 lbs and I was overweight to start! I'm so scared!

If you've only gained 12 so far then I'd say you are in good shape since we are all halfway or more now. Good job!

Today I had Special K Red Berry and a slice of whole wheat toast with peanut butter for breakfast. I also had a large coffee, double-double.

Lunch will be leftover spaghetti casserole.

Supper is unknown so far because I really, really need to go grocery shopping tonight.

For breakfast today I had leftover spaghetti with tomatoes and mozzarella + coffee (it was delicious)

Lunch will be a ham n cheese sandwich, maybe a small soup with that

I shall buy a single banana and make it my snack for today... with some choc cake from yesterday

Dinner? I don't knoooow. mayyybeee some rice with veggies. need to go shopping for groceries
