I tried getting pics of my pics with my camera but it didn't turn out to well. Hopefully I'll have pictures to share after Thanksgiving. I'm hoping I can use my dad's scanner. Anyway, we started with the internal again. I saw that Baby A was head down which is great because she's been breech until now. So that was exciting. The tech said that my cervix was perfect. Then we looked at the babies. Baby A and Baby B were kicking each other in the head. It was so cute! Baby A was also holding her hands together, which we got a picture of. When we were looking at Baby B, Baby A had turned breech yet again! But their heads were right next to each other so that was kind of cute. Baby B has not changed position at all. He's still transverse on top with his head on my right. Estimated weights are 1 lb, 9 oz for Baby A and 1 lb, 7 oz for Baby B. That's pretty good. Baby A was 61% for weight and Baby B was 50%. The doctor said that their weight may drop down in the percentiles a little bit since those percentages are for singletons and twins kind of slow down a little. Again, the doctor commented on how long my cervix is. I was looking forward to just going every 4 weeks now since I was under the assumption that that was the plan as long as my cervix stayed good, but the doctor said that since it's twins, we'll just keep doing it every 2 weeks until 30 weeks just to make sure. Blah. Transvaginal ultrasounds aren't very fun. So next ultrasound is Dec 8 and we'll probably check fluid levels, too.

Yay for a good appointment! Why do they do the transvaginal u/s still? Is that a twin thing?

YAY for a great appt! Sometimes if my bladder is full enough the tech at my high risk dr can get a really good look at my cervical length without having to do a transvaginal u/s. You should see if they're willing or able to try it that way.
