I was planning on it, but with the Placenta Previa I may end up having a C-Section. I don't really want to take a L&D class if I'm having a C-Section so I am going to wait until my next appt to see if my placenta has moved at all. The class I was planning on taking includes info on breast feeding although I believe there is a separate class as well. I hope they don't fill up before I decide.

Yes, I've already signed up for 3 at the hospital I'm delivering at. I'm taking the childbirth class, baby care class, and the breastfeeding class.

I am taking one at the hospital, a lamaze class with my doula, and hypnobabies at home. This will *hopefully* be my first vaginal and with no pain meds so I am trying to learn as much as possible.

Kelly- you can usually find a class that talks about c-sections at the hospital and what to expect.

Ive done it twice so we are not this time around. As long as I can stand during labor I will be fine lol Gravity is my best freind lol

I will be looking into breastfeeding classes tho I have already talked a lactation consultant twice so I will see what she suggests and she is even willing to come to my house, the hospital, and even take calls any time of day sooo I think I found a good one.

We've already signed up for a Bradly that a Duola is letting us take for free in January.

There are so many I want to take, but that is $$ dependent.

Not anymore, but I have taken Hypnobirthing and Lamaze in the past. I preferred the hypnobirthing.

I agree with ducky about standing during labor, gravity is wonderful.

I was hoping for a waterbirth this time but it looks like I scare all care providers having had two sections out of nine births. Even though they were almost 11 and 4 1/2 years ago and I have had two vaginal births since then, including my 11 lb 8oz baby born at home.

My dr really wants me to take the classes they offer, but I'm gonna skip out on most of them. Figure I could use a first aid and a care class, and shut her up about it haha.
My only stipulation is DF comes with me, so we will see if itll happen since its only on nights we work

We plan on it! There is a possibility that they are getting rid of the classes so I need to find out. There is a class that covers birth, care, and safety, and a bfing class as well as a CPR class.

I took classes last time. I wish they had a refresher class, just highlighting all the things you may have forgotten. I don't feel like I need the full class again, but I feel like I have forgotten a lot in the last 3 years. I'm sure it will all come back to me.
