I had my one hour glucose screen yesterday, and by the time I got home from work there was already a message asking me to call the OB/GYN's nurse to talk about test results. I was so convinced I failed because I had a breakfast shake and ate about 8 orange tic tacs shortly before going to take the test. Of course, the office was closed by the time I got the message so I worried about it all evening and all night until they opened this morning.
....turns out they were just calling to say that everything was good, but my iron is low so I need to take a supplement. I'm SOOO relieved (even though I know the odds are VERY high I would have passed the 3-hour test). I just wish they wouldn't leave messages like that without including the words "everything looks fine but we wanted to mention something quick, can you call us back".

So glad you got good news, and can avoid the 3 hour!!! What a relief!!!
And about the messages, I agree! Drives me batty when they leave messages like that. I cleared them to leave messages and to give info to DH, but somehow they always have to leave the vague message instead. It's scary! I got the call early on, "We have the results from your screenings and need you to call us back as soon as possible." Frantic, I call them, only to hear, "Everything is great, your numbers show your hormone levels are high and your risks for these particular birth defects are low." Why they couldn't leave THAT on the voicemail, I'll never know?!? Just had to let me freak out that I could be having another miscarriage, I guess. I swear, I think they enjoy putting us in suspense sometimes!
