Had an ultrasound today to check placenta and cervix. It was nice to see baby again! She was being difficult though positioned right on my cervix. So to try and get her to move the u/s tech repositioned the hospital bed so that my head was down and feet up. I felt like I was doing a handstand, the blood rushed to my head! Even with gravity working for us she still didn't move. At this point they usually decided to go in vaginally, but this tech was determined. So with me upside down, he kept jabbing my stomach trying to get her head to go up. OUCH!! She never did move but he was able to get the measure ment he needed, I think is was around 3cm (which I think is still good). As for my placenta he didn't give me any info re it. But my appt is next week so I shouldn't have to wait too long to get info.
I would say a vaginal is far less uncomfortable than being jabbed in the stomach! What was he thinking?
Glad to hear things are still ok Unless you had a tech who absolutely won't say ANYTHING even "unoffically" your placenta is probably the same, that'd be my guess anyways. At least you find out for sure soon!
