I have my ob appt today, I have my 1 hour glucose test, which I'm dreading. I'm more nervous though about what he'll say about me having menstrual like cramps almost on a daily basis. Hope everything's ok.

Good luck! Don't stress over the glucose test...it will be fine.

I hope the cramps turn out to be nothing. Keep us posted!

Good luck with the appointment and test!
I wouldn't worry too much on the cramps, so long as they are minor and not too painful. My doctor said as long as they aren't too severe, or accompanied by bleeding, they're normal. Still bring it up though!

Appointment went good, felt sick for a little bit after drinking my glucose drink though. My ob was late due to a delivery so I was starving by the end of my appointment cause it took over 2 hours.
Anyways my b/p good, weight gain is on target, they also tested for anemia. My ob only calls with results if it's not good news so hopefully I don't hear anything.
Uterus measuring as it should, baby's heart rate is perfect. He is breech, always makes me nervous so I hope he turns soon.
So I told my ob I've been having menstrual like cramps almost daily they never get too bad but wantedto mention it. So he decides to do an internal, andsays hmmm I don't know what to call that? I said what does that mean he said well it doesn't feel normal so I need to get a better look. He decided to do a vaginal ultrasound, my cervix length is good still 4, but he says it's tunneling which is why it was hard to determine based on feel what's going on. So for now hes gonna keep a close eye on it. My next appt is in 3 weeks then I start going every 2 weeks I think, can't believe it's that time already!

That sucks that he was late after that I'd be starving too
I have to go in an hour before my OB appointment on Tuesday to do it, so I won't be able to eat until that's all done with too. It's gonna suck
As far as baby being breech, even today my doctor says they've still got plenty of room to move around quite a bit and I'm a couple weeks ahead of you so don't worry about it quite yet easier said than done I know!

What does 'tunneling' mean? hope it's nothing serious!

From what I understand tunneling is like it's starting to thin out in the middle of the cervix.

I think it's "funneling" Amanda...but that's not good. I hope you don't have any more changes...but having a nice long cervix should still work in your favor. Just try to take it as easy as possible until your next appointment.

I'm glad everything else is looking good though.

Hope your cervix stays closed and you don't have any more changes. There seems to be so many of us with these preterm issues

well 4 cm is good, but stinks that it's funneling. Weird, I thought usually you efface "thin out" before you dialate "open up." Guess anything can happen though, I'm learning new things everytime I'm pregnant. Try to stay off your feet as much as possible!
