All right so our house is fairly depleted of food now, since we were gonna go grocery shopping on Monday but I ended up in the hospital instead.
So I really need to stock up, and since I have no motivation to make full meals now I figured it'd be a good time to get some opinions since I am forcing DF to go grocery shopping after he's off work today.

What are some quick and easy meals/snacks you guys like to make/buy?
Frozen foods, ready to eat foods, whatever! I'm just getting tired of eating the same stuff over and over again.

Can't get much quicker and easier than pb&j and cereal! I've been making breakfast for supper a lot, just hash browns, eggs and toast, or pancakes.

I feel so ashamed, I have forgotten all about peanut butter and jelly! I distinctly remember wanting PB&J at my parents house for MONTHS, and all we ever had is the stuff that has both of it in the same jar...yeah that's like green ketchup to me..I KNOW it's the same thing...but ew.
I'm adding it to the list

I'm a total cereal addict haha If I absolutely do not feel like putting the slightest bit of effort into making something, I'll eat some cereal. I rationed out my milk the last couple days so I'd have enough for cereal in the morning haha DF wasn't allowed any!

Oh and eggs! Thanks for reminding me!

Ditto on the crock pot! I found a really easy crock pot recipie that my family loves. Beef roast, onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, and about 8 oz of coke or pepsi. I know pepsi sounds gross but trust me you don't taste it a bit, i think it's just to help tenderize the meat. Mix all those ingredients together cook on low for about 8hrs or high for about 4. If you want you can add potatoes, carrots ect to pot.
That is by far my easiest recipe!

Crock pot dinners are awesome! Also I've tried a few frozen pasta dishes that you just toss in the oven and bake for an hour those are easy and pretty good.

Oh man I love the stouffers [or whatever it is] frozen pasta meals...but DF doesn't really like pasta soooo that's out

And thanks for bringing up crock pots, I've wanted one since I moved out and hadn't got one yet. And since my parents keep looking for christmas gift ideas, I told them I wanted one...they said "hey, that's a really good idea!"...woohoo I get a crock pot for christmas!

It's so nice having a full fridge, freezer, and cupboards. I'm easily pleased. DF was being such a whiner in the store though, and we were in there for less than an hour...ugh.
Though I found an upside to being told I can't lift a lot...I got out of feeling obligated to carry anything heavy upstairs [we live on the third floor of an apartment building...NEVER AGAIN!]

I was going to suggest crock pot stuff too.

You can pretty much put any meat and any sauce in there and it comes out wonderful. LOL! I LOVE my crock pot.

I also do stir fry.

^that. A few of our favorite meals feature meat that was just thrown in the crockpot with either a sauce or soup or can of gravy.
