I am now officially a mini van mom!!! We bought it yesterday and I love it so far! I had a Mitsubishi Montero Sport, and there was no way I was going to be able to fit 3 seats in the back seat, and I've been wanting a van for awhile....even before I got pregnant with Caleb

I just got my first mini van a couple weeks ago, and I ALWAYS said I would never have one haha.

How exciting!! I hope you love yours as much as I am loving mine!

I am loving it so far and I know I will much more when Caleb gets here and I'm not trying to cram all three boys in the back seat

Congrats! I can see the advantages of a minivan for sure. Once you have to venture into the land of 3rd row seating for SUV's, minivans are much more convenient, lower cost, and better gas mileage.

As long as we don't have any more kids, I think I can escape a minivan. LOL! If anything for sure, I guess I'd just get another SUV.

Yeah, we have a Rav4 and it will be great for 1 or 2 kids. We don't plan on having more than 2, so hopefully I can escape having to get a minivan. Haha! But Dan's parents have one and it's really convenient and comfortable to ride in when we go on road trips.

We looked into 3rd row SUV's, but they're not convenient when you have 3 little ones....for older ones, yes, but not little ones. You would have to pull the seat down to get in the 3rd row and it's just not possible with 2 baby seats!

Kelly, I traded in my 2006 Rav4 for a 2011 Camry last October. Honestly, my Camry has more room in the backseat, but I do wish I still had my Rav now, just because it seems more "family", you know?

We love the turning radius on that thing! You can make a u-turn almost anywhere and it's super easy to park. I also like sitting up higher and being able to see better, especially in TX where there are so many huge trucks. But, I do like the look of Camry's and would probably get one if we ever trade in hubby's car.

Oh yeah...the turn radius was why I got the Rav4 to begin with. LOL!

I thought I'd feel weird going back to a car, but I didn't.

I also hope I can stick with my desire to never get a minivan haha.

BUT I really am not a fan of my car now, so I'll just sit here and pout about it
[I could have gotten a really nice car with what the bank was gonna loan me, but I had to get a Subaru for the AWD so it has nothing 'extra' in it at all, I'm impressed it has a freaking CD player!]
