I think bedrest boredom is starting to kick in. All I want to do is get up and do something!!!!!

I cooked dinner and felt a little achey though, so I know better....but still....

I think I'm going to go mad if I am not allowed back to work next week.

Someone help me...please...

I'll be hoping that you are able and allowed to go back to work!
Not working for a week is nice in a way. I really needed the break physically and emotionally. But now, I'd really like something to do besides sit around all day.

I'm not even on bedrest, so I can't imagine how you must feel. If I was put on bedrest for more than a couple days, I think I'd be insane right now

Nia do you have Photoshop? Or a laptop with some memory? I can teach you how to do digital scrapbooking to stave off some of the boredom.

Do you have to laying down or can you be sitting?
If you can sit up, you could do more. Not sure what exact limitations are.
Do you have things all set for Christmas? Do you celebrate? If you do maybe getting gift wrapping out of the way or reading a good, non pregnancy related book. Hope you can get off bed rest soon.

No, no, no! You get your hiney back to bed!!! That baby needs to stay in as long as possible.

LOL - but seriously, I know it stinks being in bed all day. Just think of all the fun stuff on pinterest you'll find. Keep cooking that lil monkey! I'm usually around to chat if you need conversation. Good luck!!!

When I was on bedrest with my son, I would clean my house by rolling around in my computer chair haha! Maybe you can get some stuff done around the house that way? In small intervals of course!

Casey, I thought about that. LOL! But I still wouldn't be able to vacuum. I may have to do that though, because everyone's now concerned about me not doing anything for my bday, so I'm sure I'll get some visitors this weekend. Good thing is my mom will clean if she comes over.

Amanda, I don't have to lie down the whole time. I guess I have to get to acceptance and then I'll be ok...actually, I'm kind of at acceptance now, since it's clear that it's too risky for me to really do anything.

Good luck, hon. I don't have any experience, or anything really helpful to offer... I imagine it's got to be a pain

Kel, I sincerely hope you didn't take my post in the other thread to mean you needed to respond here...seriously. I was merely making a point. But thanks for checking in.

Casey, I do have carpet, so maybe I better not go wheeling around just yet.

Rachael, I did download a book to my Kindle for PC...but haven't started it yet. I think the majority of my problems will come on the weekends. For now though, I have work and three crochet gifts to finish. And then there are Noelle and baby's blankets I've started.

Nia I can imagine how tough it would be to be confined to bedrest! I can barely stay still for a few hours even when I'm hurting. Whatever you can do to keep your mind occupied will help the time go by. I'm thinking puzzles, brain games, scrapbooking etc. And I agree that looking into new hobbies might stave off some boredom and you might even discover a new talent or passion. Do you like to paint? Maybe get Noelle and you to do some paintings for Donovan. I stink at it but still like to fool around with the acrylics once in awhile. My kids think I'm good! Lol.

Its all for a great cause - to Keep that baby baking!

I do have acrylic paints...but there will be no painting in my bed. LOL! Since I'm supposed to be reclined, I'm sorta restricted to my bed or sofa, and my bed is more comfortable. I'm going to start reading my book tonight...after an hour or so of crochet. I really do need to finish these gifts. LOL!

Lol I didn't even think of that! Yep no way would my kids paint with me in bed either, I'd have multicolored sheets and blankets after that! That's great you can crotchet though! I tried to master it a few years back but learned I'm all thumbs.

Enjoy your book and post pics when your gifts are done k?
