First, I want to say that my Moby wrap is by far the best buy I made. I mean, it it quite literally the only thing that works when Merrik gets fussy and the one place where he naps.
My question is about napping in it. He falls asleep as soon as I put him in and it seems as if he'd sleep all day in it if I let him. He goes on for a couple hours until engorgement makes me wake him up to feed. He doesn't really look around or stay awake for more than 5 minutes in it. Just sleep a whole lot. Anybody else has the same experience? I'm struggling with deciding what to do. Do I wake him up? Limit his time in it (I don't really want to)? Can it interfere with his night sleep? I'd like to know about your experience with your LO and babywearing.
I know what you mean, Tatum usually falls right asleep when I wear her too! I usually wake her at the 3 hr mark (3 hrs since her last feeding) because of the reasons you said...my boobs hurt and I don't want to interfere with her night time sleeping. Plus, I've had a few diaper leaks from keeping her in there too long...LOL!

Donavan usually falls asleep after a few minutes too, but I don't usually have him in there for more than an hour. He's probably too cozy. IDK if it will interfere with night sleeping though. Hopefully Kel or another more experienced babywearer can help.
Andrew is the same way when I wear him still. Sometimes he'll last 5-10 minutes looking around before he passes out, but that's about it! It's just too comfortable a position I guess, LOL. He also won't wake for hunger if I'm wearing him. I won't limit wearing time, but I'll take him out to nurse (at least every second session), and if he goes into a period of being awake and alert, I won't put him back in until he's starting to fuss and show signs of being tired again. I wouldn't think it would impact night time sleeping unless you kept them in the wrap asleep ALL day long.
