I am trying to eat healthy but I find myself starving throughout the day. I was just curious what do you all eat to keep yourself full.

I find myself grabbing junk b/c I am so famished and it is the easiest thing to grab.

I eat every two hrs even if its just an apple or a sandwich.

At first I was trying to eat a lot because I was told I needed to eat so much more and I was also watching everything I ate BC I was told it would give him gas! and not drink soda, but I slowly tried each one like spicy food (which I love) and soda and nothing seemed to bother him like i was told! So I am now eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner and a snack in between each... with me its water that i have to worry about.

I usually end up snacking on almonds if I'm hungry in the middle of the night or the early morning before I'm out of bed. Because I'm waking up so often I don't actually 'get up' until 9 or 10ish. Then I will eat breakfast around 10, lunch around 2, and dinner around 6. I usually have a late night snack (or dessert...LOL!) around 9-10 before bed.

I usually have cereal, hard boiled eggs, or toast and a banana for breakfast. Lunch is usually leftovers from dinner. I don't seem to have time to snack much. I need to work on eating more fruits/veggies though. I tend to just grab something quick and filling. I like to snack on string cheese and quick things like that if I do get to have a snack.

I have been pretty careful making sure that I'm getting good quality calories because I tend to be one of those people who have a really hard time losing weight while breastfeeding. I have to make sure I get snacks in between meals or I tend to overdo it later in the evening.

For breakfast I usually have oatmeal with raisins (doesn't last as long as it should). Snacks are usually wheat thins with a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese or greek yogurt. Lunch depends...either leftovers or a sandwich...Oh I'll also have a PB&J for a snack too. I try to drink a lot of water. For dinner, I usually have a lean protein (chicken breasts or fish) wih veggies and a starch...could be box mac and cheese, potatoes, or rice. I've also been known to grab a small burger when I go get Noelle from school, because I'm usually VERY hungry by 5 pm when I go get her.

Ive never been a big eater, so this being hungry and eating all the time is new to me. I havent lost any weight for a while but havent gained either which is nice, because I feel like I eat like a pig, I usually have coffee and something small for breakfast like a donut or poptart..lunch I'll have a sandwich or leftovers, i snack all day it seems like, a cookie here and there or an apple.. then I eat supper then usually at night round 9 or 10 im starving again an usually have something sweet. sometimes I eat in the middle of the night too.. normally if i were to eat like this Id done gained 20 pds but looks like the breastfeeding is keeping my weight steady.. I would like to lose this last 10pds tho.

I vary it so much I can't really say, LOL. I make sure I eat breakfast, lunch, and supper, and try to make healthy choices as much as possible (though do sometimes grab fast food for lunch if it's a particularly hectic day). Breakfast is usually either a bowl of cereal or I've grabbed some Jimmy Dean frozen scrambles - eggs, sausage or ham, potatoes, peppers, and cheese. I can microwave 'em real quick.

I was stuck on Tim Hortons egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches through my whole pregnancy..well, I still am lol. I get one pretty much every day with my coffee after I drop the kids off at school. I'll grab an apple or piece of cheese for a snack and for lunch a sandwich or soup or one of those microwave meals.

For dinner it varies a lot, last night was rotisserie chicken, sweet potatoes and veggies. Tonight it'll be pork chops, scalloped potatoes and broccoli with cheese sauce. For me, I have to watch how much junk I eat. On a hectic day rather then eating a proper lunch I'll snack on stuff and some of it not so good (yesterday I ate 3 of those little jelly rolls lol and late last night polished off about 6 mini donuts yikes!) I need to eat more fruit and veggies for sure. I do take my prenatal still every day as extra "insurance" for those days I don't eat so well though.

With three boys to take care of I don't usually get breakfast and we usually eat a sandwich or leftovers for lunch. Dh always cooks dinner, tonight it was chicken alfredo with broccoli. Tomorrow will be chicken wings and twice baked potatoes. I also feel like all the water I consume for breast feeding makes me less hungry.

I'm always starving! I eat a bowl of cereal or oatmeal for breakfast, a turkey sandwich or egg whites with turkey sausage for lunch, and usually a lean protein and veggie for dinner. For snacks I eat string cheese, almonds, yogurt, wheat thins, fruit, or popcorn. I snack a lot! We try really hard to keep sweets out of our house because I've been known to eat an entire box of s'mores pop tarts or a dozen cookies in one sitting, lol. That was back when I was in hs and college though. Now, I just keep the temptation away!

My appetite has dropped dramatically since she was born and I have to admit I am REALLY bad about eating breakfast - I get up and start doing stuff and next thing I know it is 5 hours later! I try to have a smoothie that I make with sheeps milk yogurt, a bit of OJ and some fruit. If I dont use OJ then I add a bit of organic honey or agave syrup to make it a bit sweeter and so that the kids will also drink it (I sneak their probiotics in there I will also snack on a banana or a piece of toast or something. I usually eat lunch mid afternoon and it is leftovers or a soup and sandwich maybe. Dinner varies but I try to keep it relatively healthy if I can. Last night I made chicken parm with whole wheat pasta and tonight I made a homemade sweet potato, barley and lentil soup and will serve with a green salad and some baked sweet potato fries. I try not to eat after 8pm lately as that was a REALLY bad habit while pregnant LOL
