Avery's pretty good about it for the most part. During his last growth spurt, we had a few car-seat related melt-downs, but generally speaking he just cries a bit during the strap-in process but sleeps in the car. When he does cry in the car, I get stressed, though (if I'm driving and unable to calm him). Last week I had to pull over into a parking lot and bounce him around for fifteen minutes, and then I bailed on my mission and went home because I was too frazzled. That was my first full day home without DH.

He's good in the car seat during shopping trips, too.

Christopher likes the carseat and loves to ride. He cranks up a little bit at stoplights, but once the car is moving again he goes right back in to the zone.

Jakob LOVES the car seat and car rides. If I'm going crazy and need a break I will drive around the block with him multiple times and he will sleep

That's how Paige is too.

She also does well in the carseat in the store too especially if I unstrap her and let her stretch out more.

Mason loves his seat and car rides. He's very content in the car even when he's wide awake. He seems to know that when I put him in his car seat that we're going out.

We usually have no issues on van rides, if we do I have all my big helpers. I wear him if we go in a store or something.

Zachary loves being in his car seat in the car. I wear him in my ergo when we are shopping.

Atticus changes his mood about the carseat. But I wear him any time we are out.

Charlie screams every time he gets in the car seat. My friend made me a great ring sling that he loves, so every time we leave the car he just get worn. The good thing about all the screaming ( we have to drop off and pick up the older sibs all day) is that he gets worn out and sleeps great for naptime!

In the car he is fine. He will either fall asleep or his brothers will entertain him.

As for shopping, I try to do it while he is sleeping or in a good mood. For the most part he is fine.

If he's awake, he hates it when stopped at a light. He usually falls asleep if the car is moving for a while (like on the highway).

Depends. If he's just ate he happily goes to sleep within minutes (though he does spend those minutes screaming). If he's wide awake he cries and screams the whole time.

Jamison loves the car! I even found him a seat that mimics a car ride. Best purchase ever!!!

Liam HATES the car seat...he cries the second I set him down in and doesn't stop until I take him out. To date he has not slept more then 5 minutes in his while we were in the car (otherwise it's me trying to rock the seat to keep him from screaming). When we go out to eat or shopping, I move him to the moby.....otherwise....you'd think I was pinching him or something!!
