I'm honesty considering it. I'd have to wait a little while longer to start - I only have an umbrella stroller and just wear him on walks right now, which wouldn't work so well for running - but I'm really interested about the program. I've never considered myself a runner, or someone with much stamina, but I'd kind of like to try.
I'm planning to do C25km, too. I'm going to wait for a while, too. I'm in pretty horrendous shape at present, so I want to continue walking briskly and strengthen myself a lot more before I put that kind of strain on my joints and back. I also want Avery to have neck control so that I can buy a jogging stroller.

This is another thing that I have never heard of until this group, haha. But I have always been a good runner, I was training for a marathon when I got pregnant. I had to stop running because of medical issues when I was PG, but I just started again last week. I am horribly out of shape but even still running 1.5 miles every few days. Running is my go to exercise! Good for you guys for doing this! Good luck! LMK how it goes
I've never heard of it either. But I'd like to try it. Only problem is I live along the highway so that's the only good place to run. It's a quiet highway though but I may have to get Dh to do it with me, he wouldn't want me out there by myself probably.
I can't say enough good things about this running program. Before June 2010, I only ran when chased. I started the program and slowly, became a runner. I did my first 5K on Thanksgiving that year. I went on to train for a half marathon (that was a disaster due to weather issues) and ran a 10 mile race during my training. I NEVER thought I would be able to do that!
I started the program again, since I wanted to ease back in to running after having Zachary. I am on week 7 now. I have been though it much faster this time. I like running because I can put the baby in the stroller and go. The jogging stroller I have takes the baby seat, so I am able to run with him now.
