Do you put shoes on your baby, or not?
How about socks?

I honestly don't bother with either, and a few moms I know think I'm totally weird for it!

No shoes. I've tried to put socks on them when it's cooler out, but they always wind up getting them off.

No shoes, but I put socks on him since it's still not super warm around here.

For the most part he is still wearing sleepers so no need for sock or shoes.

I do socks because it's cool in the mornings and he wears footless sleep and plays, but shoes, no. I think someone did buy him some sandals for an outfit they got him though...along with a fedora. LOL!!!!

We do socks because it is still cool. No shoes though. They are a pain, and I've always read that it is better for their feet if they are barefoot as much as possible, even when they start walking. No hard soled shoes until they are older.

Lori, it's the same here - if I put socks on, he just manages to get them off and (usually) lose one somewhere! It's warm enough I just don't bother anymore.

Nia, I'd love to see the baby fedora! LOL!

I did buy her some little socks that look like she is wearing ballet slippers. She has only worn them twice though.

I live the socks that look like shoes! Zachary has a bunch of them and they are just so cute.

It's been warm enough lately that she doesn't need socks. A friend of mine gave her a tiny pair of jelly shoes. I tried to put them on her this morning but they're just a little too big. I never put shoes on any of the kids when they were babies but these jelly shoes are too cute not to use!

socks if it's cold.

also, i heard wearing shoes is bad for their developing feet? not sure if that's true, i just don't put them on because of the hassle and i don't see the point
