I started jogging about 2 weeks ago and for the first week and a half I felt fine but the last few days I've been so sore. My feet and legs hurt so bad when I walk. Does anyone know how long it will take before I can jog without hurting like this? I want to keep jogging but it makes me want to just give it up!

I was the same with walking (I walk at a very fast pace). I was fine for the first couple of weeks and then I was so sore. It lasted for a few days. I just pushed through it and it just stopped hurting so much. Good luck and don't give up.

Is it soreness or pain? What kind of shoes are you running in? When I first started running, I was hurting. I went to running store and had them fit me for shoes. They watched me run, analyzed things, and then fit me with the appropriate shoe. It made a huge difference!

It's soreness. I've been using a pair of Sketchers. They're not jogging shoes but it's all I have right now. I'm hoping I can go in the next month and get some better shoes.
