I love a lot of series lol so I'll name a few u can look into depending on what ur feeling.

Laurell k hamilton merry gentry series is one of my all time favorites. Her Anita Blake series is great as well. Merry gentry is fey and Anita Blake is vamps and weres. (also a bit of sex scenese in these books especially the merry gentry)

Janet evanovich Stephanie plum series love these! They make me literally laugh out loud while reading them. The first book in the series was just made into a movie do the kindle prices just jumped up on these. Smh. (One for the money)

Tess Gerritsen rizzoli and Isles is another good series.

If you like sci-fi (vamp/were) stuff a cheap read is the vampire love stories
Tim o'rourke also writes some pretty good inexpensive books as well I don't remember which one is his first in the series but he has a blog if u google it.

I honestly cant name just 3 favorites. I have too many.

Currently, I am reading Game of Thrones and I just started one called "We Need to Talk About Kevin", which is about a mother in the aftermath of her son committing a school shooting. It's written in the form of letters from her to her husband.

Other books that are old favorites would be The Joy Luck Club, Memoirs of a Geisha, A Handmaid's Tale. I love Juliet Marillier, her stuff is kind of historical/fantasy/romance.

A Million Miles in a Thousand Years: Awesome book by Donald Miller, he is very religious so it does have that take on things, but it doesn't shove it down your throat like a lot of religious books. I read this when I was going through a rough time and it really helped me to turn things around.

My Sister's Keeper: Great. So much better than the movie. Oddly it is also VERY different from the movie.

Thirteen Reasons Why: Not for everyone, but I really loved it. I read it so long ago that I don't remember it much, but that always sticks out in my mind when people ask me what is my favorite book.

Breaking Dawn was good. Read those Grey books, liked the second one okay. Mostly I just grab whatever I think I might like at the thrift store (I still am into paper books) or whatever my grandma just finished.

I am on book 2 of the Frankenstein series by Dean Koontz. I have been addicted to his stuff lately. His other ones that are favourites of mine are Odd Thomas and Life Expectancy.

So is dear John and last song. I think it's because Nicholas sparks writes like real life an real life can be tragic. Tragedy doesn't work so well in Hollywood. If you like my sisters keeper I suggest last song and dear John as well I'm a HUGE Nicholas Sparks fan!
