Is your baby on any sort of nap schedule yet? How many naps do they take?

We haven't set a specific one for Andrew, but he tends to fall asleep around 7-8, 11-12, and 2-3, with the first two being cat naps and the last one I help him (aka, leave him on me and pat his back occasionally) so it lasts an hour or two. Sometimes he will grab another cat nap around 6.

She usually sleeps for a couple hours in the afternoon when Summer takes her nap. Then she just takes little cat naps during the day.

He's getting into a schedule slowly but surely. He goes to bed by 8pm, sleeps till 3h30 and wakes up to nurse, goes back to sleep until 7. Then he takes a cat nap at 9 and 11 and a longer nap (maybe 45mins-1hr) in the afternoon around 2-3. Sometimes a little cat nap at 5h30.

He's getting pretty predictable with those and if he skips one, he's soooo fussy.

Mia goes to bed between 9-10pm and sleeps until 6-8am without fail and that's her only predictable sleep. She may have a couple of days of cat naps around the same times but then shakes it up. I kind of like no schedule because we're on the run so much...

Cam goes to bed between 9 and 10 sleeps till between 230 and 330, then up around 630. My husband gets up for work and since he is in my room, he wakes up. We nurse and change, then he goes back to sleep for about 2 hours. Then he will snooze/cat nap throughout the day. It's funny, he is pretty solid when it comes to his actual sleep, but his daytime he just sleeps when he is tired. He will also never go down during the day for more htan 30 minutes. He must sleep on a person to sleep for any length of time.

Mason isn't on a schedule but I can pretty much tell when he needs to nap. He wakes up around 11 for the day, takes an hour nap at 1, again at 4 and then again at 7. We put him to bed after our oldest so it helps that he naps at 7. Sometimes he naps in his crib but it's been so hot here that I've been letting him nap in his swing or on me for the past week.

Jessica, I totally get that! I won't mind the one nap a day schedule in the afternoon, but when he settled and needs a morning nap, it's gonna suck a bit - for years now, my routine has been running around in the morning, home in the afternoon, LOL. For now at least, his schedule is kind of loose, and he can nap on the run - especially with the cat naps.
