How do you get your babies to sleep and keep them asleep with older siblings and their noise? Do you have any tricks to get them to sleep longer during the day?

Anden wakes up after very short naps. His older brother and sister just don't get it that they need to play quietly while he's sleeping. I bought a sleep sheep to help regulate the noise.

I put a large fan in Mia's room and it drowns out all noise. The white noise helps her sleep and then I never have to quiet the big kids.

I'm reading Elizabeth Pantley's book, the No-cry sleep solution (because we have a No-sleep crying situation here) and she suggests setting up a white noise machine in the baby's room to cover-up other noises. It can be a fan or a cd that has nature noises on it.

Once he gets to sleep it's not an issue. I've never really hushed any of them, babies gotta learn to sleep through noise.
