DD got her 1st cold week two of day care, at about 3.5 months. She was very cranky and crying nonstop (she hardly ever cried at that point) so between that and the fact that Big Brother had recurrent colds leading to ear infections at that age we decided to take her to the doctor. Well, he didn't find anything wrong and not long after the visit she stopped crying. Other than a little runny nose, she had no other issues!
A couple weeks ago I had to pick her up early from day care on a Friday with a fever. She was not as cranky as last time, and she had absolutely no other symptoms, and her fever was gone in less than a day.
After the "musical colds" my husband and I played with our son the first year of his life, we are so glad things have been mild so far. I've had two colds in the same time span but they have been the absolute mildest I've ever had. And they didn't transfer to DH or DS. Yay!
