I'm sure Andrew needs more of it, and I think that is part of why he's not sleeping well lately...but I don't know how to make him get more sleep? If I try to make "bedtime" earlier than 7-8, he just wakes right back up and screams. I can't seem to make any of his naps longer than about 45 minutes. He is getting maybe 10-11 hours a day, including naps?

Suggestions??

Does he take a lot of naps during the day? Teeth? Where does he nap?

Mason sleeps 12-13 at night with no wake ups and no problems. He just started taking longer naps because I've been putting him in his crib to nap. If he naps on me or his swing he only sleeps for about 45 minutes.

He does 3 naps a day, 30-45 minutes each because I put him in his crib. If I let him nap on me, sometimes I can stretch that to an hour to an hour and a half. Sometimes the crib backfires, he wakes up after 5 minutes of nap and won't go back to sleep until the next nap. He seems to have lost his ability to self-sooth. He did have a week of teething in there, but it's since come in. I think we had a storm of teething, growth spurt, and development that knocked him totally off... But now I have no idea what to do, short of CIO which I personally feel he's too young for. (I do wait until he is crying, not just fussing, to go in.)

Mmmm, I guess it could be development. Mason is the exact opposite with naps. He is down to 2 naps a day because he sleeps pretty late. I'm sorry that I don't have any advice for you
