So, I'm making sweet potatoes tonight and I am soooo tempted to let Mason try some. After all my fussing at people to quite pushing food and here I am the one now going "Hmmm.... that baby sure looks like he could use some sweet potatoes." Mine and John's goal is 6 months of JUST breastfeeding as long as he seems fines with that, and he is doing just fine with it. And I know we're so close to 6 months that it seems silly to hold off now, but this will be the longest we've ever managed to exclusively breastfeed, and I know if I give in now I'll just hate it that I couldn't make it just 2 more weeks.
I'm going to just go ahead and make some up and freeze it, but I know those dang sweet potatoes will taunt me every time I open the freezer.
I wish I'd waited. We were a week and a half shy of 6 months and he was starting to look super interested in everything we ate, so I tried a bit of stuff with him. He was NOT interested, wasn't interested until last week (after 6 months), so now I can't say "we went 6 months EBF" and we didn't even get the pay out!
