Yay! I love October. Our leaves are starting to change, Halloween decorations are coming out... It's fabulous! And then there's the turkey (because yes, I moved to the US, but I always have turkey on Canadian Thanksgiving!)
What kinds of traditions do you have - or will you be starting - this October?
We've never actually done the pumpkin patch scene or anything like that, but the patch is a great photo-op soooo we'll be doing that and probably take him around trick or treating to our friends and family.
I'd never done a pumpkin patch before having kids either, but we go every year now. There are some around here that set up a cool outdoor playground, so we go let the boys run themselves until they're exhausted... Not so helpful for our babies this year, but it's fun
We already decorated. We're heading to a local pumpkin patch next week to buy pumpkins, have apple cider donuts and let Ethan play on the outside play equipment. Ethan's going on a field trip for school to a pumpkin patch in a couple of weeks and they're having a harvest party at school. I'm making scary cupcakes for his school for Halloween. I love this time of the year and watching our leaves start to change.
