Hello Ladies,

I want to apologize if my post offends anyone. I know or it seems that most ppl on this site struggle with getting pregnant and for me if my hubs coughs on me I get pregnant.

Anyway, I am feeling very overwhelm because as my title suggest that after the birth of this one, I will have three children under three (31 months, 15 months old and the newborn). I haven't stopped crying since I found out several days ago.

If there is anyone who can offer me some advice on how to handle the transition or tips on what I can do please, please, please share. ONe of the concepts I am struggling with is how will i do grocery shopping. My two children now fill the cart space....( I hope I am not strange for thinking about that kind of stuff.

I would love to hear stories if anyone has ever or is going through a similar situation.

My parents had twins and 2 single births within 3.5 years. I know that she could definitely relate. I don't really know much about it myself since I am one who has trouble staying pregnant, but with regards to shopping, have you thought of baby wearing? You could still have the 2 in the cart and just have the baby wrapped on you.

Hang in there mama! Unplanned pregnancy is really hard. I have several friends with 3 and 4 under 3 and they managed mostly by baby wearing. They also ended up putting the older one in daycare for a few months when the new baby was born.

Congratulations, a baby is a blessing no matter when or how they come You're going to be awesome!

Yup, I thought of babywearing immediately. I will have 2 under 2 and I plan to wear my newborn so I don't have to buy another stroller.

Do you have close family/friends nearby that can come take the older ones for periods of time to give you a break? Or even take them while you do things like grocery shopping?

My friend says I just have to wash mine and hubby's clothes together and we get pregnant I know the feeling.

*hugs* When I had my third, my youngest at the time wasn't even 2. My oldest was just 4, it was still hard but we were okay. Baby wearing is definitely a wonderful thing and it was a life saver when I had to take all 3 kids out by myself.

It will be okay. I won't lie, I'm sure it will be overwhelming at times. Even though I will have two in school when this baby is born, we'll be baby wearing again.

Just lurking in here, but I will have 4 under 3. I'm an older mom as well (42yrs) and have less energy, but I guess I have more patience now, lol. My youngest will be 11mo when this baby comes and I will have a 2yr old and a 3yr old......along with several others who are older (8 in total, 2 are out of the house already). I work and DH works. We alternate days at home to avoid daycare. I do not baby wear, but that sounds great for moms who do! I make a DASH for the door when its my day to be home with the kids, just to get out of the house for a gallon of milk! Make time for yourself, no matter the situation of work schedules or if your a SAHM. That 1hr at the store can give you all kinds of strength to get through the day, trust me! I do not take anyone to the store with me, EVER,lol.....It gets easier, trust me, and you will find your pattern that works for you.

Our church has mommy day out. It's twice a week for like 3 hours. The babies have to be 2 and under. You might look for something like this to get a few hours to get things done. Good luck to you. I know a bunch of my friends baby wear.

I would look. Into mummy's day out like others suggested or a part time preschool. We have a little place here that let's you do two or three mornings a week and is fairly reasonable. Even if it just gave you a break from the oldest one you'd be better able to get things done. I'm sure it'll be overwhelming at first but eventually it'll be normal! And they'll probably grow up very close

This is my first time posting in this group, because I don't quite know when I'm due, but I just wanted to say I found I was pregnant earlier this week. My oldest will be 3 when this baby is born and my youngest around 21 months. It will definitely be rough. This pregnancy wasn't planned either and like you, all my husband has to do is cough on me to get pregnant. I am still struggling a lot with the fact that I'm pregnant a lot, but I know it will all work out. I don't really have any advice, I just wanted to let you know you aren't alone!

Again i really want to say thank you for the supportive comments. I have begun looking into preschool programs for my oldest and someone suggested in another thread to try online grocery shopping which I actually love the idea of having my groceries delivered.

Thanks everyone.

I am not in your shoes, but wanted to wish you well on this little surprise. I like the other Mom's ideas of wearing the baby. Best wishes!

Here, online grocery shopping is so popular. Four (I think) of the big supermarkets offer it country-wide.
