Is what the guy performing an ultrasound on me yesterday said to me.

I fainted on the stairs and fell the last 4 steps at home yesterday. As a precaution, my husband took me to hospital for a check up. To ease my concerns, an ultrasound was performed and those above words are what the guy said to me.

I think once the shock has worn off we'll be happy. I mean, we are, but 0 to 3 in 9 months??? Yeah. Shock isn't the word. This is scary. They think there is 2 in one sack, so 2 identical, and 1 fraternal. But we'll know more in a couple of weeks. Really scared. Three babies? That doesn't happen to people like me.

Wow, that's incredible! Identical twins can happen to any woman (I think the odds are 1 in 200 no matter who you are), regardless of fertility treatments, so that would be so amazing and rare that you would experience both identical and fraternal! Has this changed the number of ultrasounds you'll be getting?

Oh!! And you need to start posting belly pics NOW, because you're going to grow FAST!!

Ultrasounds, belly pictures etc will have to wait until we have a private section. I do not feel comfortable posting these when the board is open to anybody to view. If this was a "normal" pregnancy, I would have no problem but with it being more unusual, I have to protect myself and my babies in any way that I can.

As for ultrasounds, I am being referred to a specialist team. I will meet to discuss my future care within the next week or so.
