We're 10wks 3 days along and toying with the idea of buying one but have no idea which ones are actually worth the money. I read positive reviews about the Jumper Angelsounds Jpd-100s Fetal Doppler, but don't want to just jump into purchasing one that is going to be a waste.

I'm a little cautious about even getting one though...having the reassurance would be nice, but I also don't want it to give us a false sense of security when something could actually be very wrong.

So ladies, my question is yay or nay and if yay, then which one?!

Ready, set, go!

Sorry, I have never used a doppler. I have really, really wanted to have one with both pregnancies, but just never got one. I hope other ladies have some input!

I went to motherhood, target, and wm to look and none of them carry them anymore (I bought one at motherhood before). So I've been looking online myself. I only want one that I can hear the hb so I've been thinking of getting the angel sounds one (they are like $30 or so, and are similar to the one I had before). But now there are so many choices I don't have a clue

I have the sonoline b doppler and I love it, very easy to use. It was highly recommended by people on several message boards when I was pregnant with my daughter. There are also a ton of youtube videos to show you how to use it. I think I paid around $50 dollars for it on ebay, but that was 2 years ago.

I've heard a lot of good reviews about the Sonoline B. I've been considering buying it myself.

I just checked Ebay and the prices range from $1.29 to $60! Such a huge variance! We'll probably go with one of these though, thank you so much!

I have a Sonoline B as well and love it. I bought it with my second pregnancy (in 2010) and it still works great. I found my daughter's heartbeat around 9 weeks with it and this time it was closer to 10.

I have the jumper 100B, I just got it tonight! I used lube instead of ultrasound gel and found the heartbeat within two minutes! Baby is moving around like crazy and a little heartbeat is going perfectly.

Mine was $88 plus tax and right now I say it was worth it!

I bought the Angelsounds doppler. It is not the best but it was inexpensive. I bought it off of Amazon for about $35. I couldn't find the heartbeat until late into my 11th week. I use a light lotion and water, but I've also have heard that aloe vera gel works as well. I use it a few times a week and it definately gives me peace of mind.

We purchased a Sonoline B Doppler from Clinical Guard on line. We received it yesterday and were so excited to try it. My hubby is a Paramedic and we read up in his paramedic books (because the little booklet that came with the Doppler gave NO instructions on how to use it or what the 3 modes indicate!) any who, really long story short. I'm 11w5d today but this was yesterday and we couldn't not find a single thing! We heard my guts going crazy (but that's because I"m taking MiraLAX for my sever constipation) and we were both really sad I'm so confused as how so many of you say you have success at earlier times in finding the heartbeat. What's the trick? There was one time we tried for 35 minutes! Nothing. We found all my arteries in my legs and belly that we ready about on line after we couldn't find it. But really? What's the trick!? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
