This is my first pregnancy so I am a little shocked at how big my breasts are already!
I am wondering what most people are doing for bra shopping. Buying a bra back strap extender or just keep buying bigger bras? I was hoping not to buy too many...thanks for any tips

Well if your cup size is getting bigger then I'd say get the next size up (that's what I did). You could try the extender though and see if that works for the girls.

I went ahead and bought 2 wireless nursing bras for comfort's sake! Though I haven't "popped" in my belly, my breasts really rounded out during the first trimester. I'm up two cup sizes & I love it! I never wanna go back to my old boobs again - LOL.

I used this link for research - there's a bra calculator button in the left margin on the site.

Bras for Pregnancy and Breastfeeding, How to Select Pregnancy Bras

I purchased from the Elle Macpherson nursing collection -- really pretty styles!

I wish I was more excited about my expansion. I felt big to begin with, good thing it's winter thanks for the online tip. I think I may also purchase some nursing bras as I will get much more use from them.

I have at least one in every size lol! But I got the bigger ones cheap, or on sale. I also buy nusing bras, cus you will use them for longer. I find most of the time I am pregnant, and the first year of nursing I am about two sizes bigger than normal, so that is the size I buy them in. I also have one or two that are a size bigger for the couple weeks after the milk comes in!! That or you could use a soft sports type bra for that time.

It took my skin being rubbed raw underneath my bbs, and my nipples fully flowing from the top to finally cave and buy new bras this weekend. I bought some sports-like nursing bras. So much more comfy!

I am already I larger bras with no wires. Mine always get big at the beginning, go down, and then blossom again at 20 weeks, then when my milk comes in they go crazy.

I would hold off on buying any more new bras until after your milk comes in. You never know how much you'll grow before then!
