So, I got hemorrhoids from pushing my first out and I remember being in excruciating pain from them at the end with #2. For some reason I felt like maybe I'd avoid it this time but nope over the last two days it's been building up and the pain has now reached critical mass to the point I can't even sleep. It's awful!! The real kicker is that there is just nothing that can be done about the pain- I've tried pretty much everything I can think of and I just have to wait it out but this little guy must be sitting on something because the pressure is constant and intense!!! At the moment I'm having intense shooting pains that keep waking me up- it's going to be a long long night- fingers crossed he moves or whatever and I get some relief- anyone have any good home remedies other than witch hazel and warm baths and creams/jellies???? I cannot wait to get these little ****s removed lol

I am sorry you are in so much pain. I don't have any advice on the pain. Does Tylenol not do anything for them?

Last night was one of the worst nights I've had lol I was in so much pain . Part of it was that I read online that garlic helps...garlic might help if you don't have to get up to pee every five minutes but yeah no I think it just made it more uncomfortable. I don't know that I've ever had a flare up this bad and I didn't even do anything to let it get like this!!! Aaaaaahhh. Luckily, I read of using Vicks and cortisone cream so had dh run out this morning and I have a feeling it might help- it definitely cooled things off anyway lol sigh.
