Chloe is doing fantastically!! I am seriously relieved, because with the way she was acting while we were in the hospital, I thought she was a really fussy baby and bad sleeper. Turns out she just really needs her sleep, and she didn't respond well to nurses constantly prodding and poking her every hour.
Now that we're home, she's been so pleasant! She sleeps about seven hours straight at night, wakes up one time to nurse, and then sleeps again for another three or four hours. Both my boys were TERRIBLE sleepers, so this is awesome, haha! I know it will keep changing over the weeks, but I'm enjoying it for now.
Logan is a hungry hungry hippo, turning himself into a chunky monkey, rapidly! He's still only sleeping ~3 hour stretches at night at 9 weeks old (so I am draaaaaaaagging at work! SO TIRED and so little patience for my students' end of year shenanigans), but it is what it is, and we're surviving. He's a really easy going baby, happy to be held by anyone, only cries when he's hungry or has a burp stuck, and content to be put on his tummy or his back just about anywhere.
Levi is pretty good. He has amazing head control, does mini pushups all the time and when holding him he's trying to bear weight on his legs too. Sleep is eh. We just had the wonder week that happens at 5 weeks and now he has a stuffy nose that isn't helping matters. But otherwise he's so good! We just love him to bits!
Violet is 8 weeks old. She has a cold which I suspect sounds a lot worse for me than it does for her. Little baby coughs and sniffles are pitiful. She is up to almost 9 #, so nearly a 2# weight gain, it's slow going but it's going. She is sweet and full of smiles.
Bianca is a little piggy too. She has her two week check tomorrow and I'm sure she will be 8lbs+.
She sleeps two to three hours at night and wants to sleep all day too. I've been having to keep her awake from 6pm til 9pm or 10pm so she won't be up at 4am. She is not a fan of being kept up either.
*Thank you *Kiliki* for the beautiful siggy!
Xavier will be 13 weeks on Sunday.
As of today he is 9 pounds 11 ounces.
He sleeps on average 3 hour stretches a night, once in a while he sleeps 5 hours.
He is suffering from severe acid reflux and we tried xantac and now take prevacid in addition to gripe water and ovol. Also, today we changed him from Similac to Enfamil. Poor little guy is so misserable that it is heart breaking...

After 15 long years, and many losses, our miracle is here!
Xavier arrived 8 weeks early on February 9th, 2014 <3
Finn is somewhat "high needs" and starving! He had pretty major tongue tie on bottom and lip tie on top. We had it fixed yesterday and now all he wants to do is practicing eating with his new tongue. I'm exhausted!
Well Truely has had it hard I must say, poor little love bug. She has no problem gaining weight or growing though. But she's been suffering from colic (which means we're suffering also), and now she just got diagnosed with silent reflux and laryngomalacia. But we're hoping the medicine they prescribed will help with the reflux and that in turn will help with the colic.
Kate is finally doing really well! She gained a pound between last monday and this tuesday, she was 7'13 and I expect hitting 8 lbs by now. She did that while consistently taking less and less formula! Yesterday she took only 40 ml just before bed, and today so far nothing and I think my supply went up again today enough that she won't need a bottle at all! I need to get in to see the specialist again to see if I still need to take the medication, I don't want my supply to just keep going and going up, or we'll have issues with oversupply. In the mornings/middle of the night she only nurses on one side now. So thankful for a light at the end of the post partum feeding/weight gain horror show tunnel! Life is finally starting to feel a bit normal, although the downside is she's been eating more like every 2 hours and not doing her 4 hour stretch at night, more like 3 hours, so I'm more tired and haven't been able to get much done between feeding her, caring for my other kids and myself. Hopefully as my supply keeps up and evens out she will even back out with her eating and sleeping. Every 3 hour feedings were awfully nice, and my DD did it on just breastmilk.. but she was an amazing sleeper, I don't think kate will be like her. Her older brother was every 2 hours all day until he was a year old.. but he did sleep 8 hour stretches at night for a while, till he started teething, and then went to just waking once a night, so I know nights will get easier in time.
Cece is doing pretty well. We had our 2 week checkup yesterday and she is back above birthweight, which is such a relief! She's been fussy in the evenings, which makes her want to nurse. But then she overeats and gets gassy and spits up. We're going to try some gas drops tonight to see if we can head it off. Sleep has been rough. Occasionally I can get a 3.5 hour stretch out of her. But usually more like 2.5 hours. The last 2 nights she was super fussy and we spent a good chunk of the night in the recliner in the nursery instead the bedroom.
