An Exact Replica of a Figment of My Imagination by Elizabeth McCracken?
I noticed it on the eHow site where it was listed as a good book to read. I checked it out on Amazon and read some of the preview that they had there and it looks like it's really good. Too bad all the local Barnes and Nobles say they are out of stock. If it's really good, I might pass it on to a couple of people to read in order to help them understand.......

I have. It was okay to me... though I think it may have been because of the place I was in when I read it. The book does talk about her subsequent pregnancy and baby and I really wasn't in a good place with that then.
I don't think it's a book that's really helpful immediately after a loss... I've read several that really helped me deal with my loss, and this isn't that kind of book. It IS a good read. Funny, thoughtful, and definitely deals with the emotional ride of a stillbirth.
How it would help others to understand... I'm really not sure. That's a good question.
