I had to brace myself for the movie but at least I watched that part and didn't cry

OMG!! I saw this movie on the plane going to California (still here, just had to respond to this post) and I couldn't believe they would show something so upsetting on a plane loaded with KIDS!! I was in shock. I was ok during the sono part, I felt horrible and teared up of course, but I just couldn't hold it together at the end. I have 2 dogs and the stupidness of the 2 of them equal up to Marley, seriously. I know some day they both will no longer be with us, but to see that movie with out them laying on me made me miss them so much!! MY DH and I were talking about it too. We set our selves up for it also. We know the animals aren't going to live as long as us, but we adopt them anyway. It's just so so sad to lose an animal. I've dealt with it my whole life and yet, I keep getting more animals.

Anyway, on a side note: We're having a great time. I can't believe we only have 2 more days and then we head home. It's so beautiful in California, I could move here. I love it so much. I hope everyone is doing well. I think about you girls every day.

No, I haven't. I don't really want to subject myself to that part (plus DH doesn't want to see it really, so I'd have to watch it myself).

And ditto the adopting animals part. I was devastated when I lost my Princess, but here I am wanting a dog (or cat!) soooooooooooooooo bad. But I think all the love and companionship they give you is worth it.

We haven't seen it, but I have read about it. It's not our "type" of movie, so I doubt we'll ever watch it.

Stephanie-where in CA are you?? I live dout there before but HATED it. Then again, I love the east coast AND cold weather lol. I lived in Southern CAlifornia for 2 tears, around Palmdale and Mojave (ok mOjave is out in the middle of NOWEHERE desert but it was better than Palmdale).

I read that book about 2 years ago and stayed up until almost 4am one night to finish it. I was bawling in bed. So I thought when I saw the movie I would be able to handle it, but nope, there I was crying again.
