when keeley is crawlin round she always ends up at my side table and always picks up and plays, pointing at the one picture of jessica i have told her its her big sister in heaven and she smiles she's too young to understand ( i think ) but could she really i wonder
We lost D when Mattea was about 18 months. She knew in her own way that I was pregnant, she would always come up and hug my tummy and say "hi baby" and give it kisses. She knew there was a baby in there. The day before we lost D, Mattea came up to me, hugged my belly and then waved at it and said "bye-bye baby". I of course then started bawling. I still get teary-eyed thinking about it. She knew. She really did. I think young ones are more aware than we give them credit for, I bet she does understand, in her own way
