I swear I don't know where my head is. I forget what I'm saying in mid sentence, forget the name of common household objects, like my kids' names, and find myself literally lost sometimes.

Anyone else? Or is this the effect of birthing 5 children? LOL

TOTALLY. I am in charge of the household finances. I forgot to pay the mortgage . . . and DH's student loans . . . and the electric. Not when Ethan was born, but TWO WEEKS AGO. Ugh.

I'm more lost this time than last time. I feel like I need a sign "Just lost baby...please think for her".

yea, I totally agree. I find I zone off quite a bit and can't remember things as I used to.

My therapist wasn't at all surprised when I told her this a couple of months ago.

Oh yes... over a year later I'm still fighting to keep my mind on track and not lose thoughts left and right.

This is one of the biggest reasons I'm so nervous about going back to work right now. Its the most important time of year with finals coming (i teach high school biology) and i feel like my brain isn't functioning well enough to handle the classroom, planning and writing tests. By September I know I"ll be better but right now i don't feel like i can handle my day to day with my 4yr old let alone 80 15yr olds!

I can't remember jack. I know pregnancy brain gets worse with each baby, but stillbirth definitely seems worse.
