How long did you bleed after your loss? How far along were you?

I am still bleeding, which doesn't surprise me because I bled pretty much for 6 weeks with my other pregnancies, I just want to know of this is normal with a stillborn too. Thanks.

I was 18 weeks exactly when I had Ethan. I think I bled for almost 3 weeks. My doctor actually put me on birth control pills right away to help stop the bleeding and start a new cycle so we could try again in a few cycles.

I bled for about 6 weeks and I had the girls at 23w3d. It was weird though, cause I stopped bleeding and 4 days later I got AF. I didn't think she would be around that fast!

My loss was at 28 weeks and I think I had bleeding for a full 2 weeks. I had the exact same thing with DS #1 and he was full term.

The bleeding with Cora was the shortest I had. I went camping on May 18th in Yellowstone and was still spotting (delivered her May 2nd) I was pretty much done by the next week.

With my other two, the heavy bleeding stopped sooner, but I spotted for ages and ages and ages. I think it's because of nursing.

Anyway, I would think that it would be along the same timelines as your other children. After all, just because the baby didn't live doesn't mean you weren't as pregnant as you were.

I had Robert at 35 weeks and bled for 6 weeks after. Then I got af about a little over 8 weeks after delivering him.

That is what I figured, it would be about as long as I did with my other babies. In my opinion then I should have that amount of time for recovery. Going back tot he post in the private area.

One of the people in my chain of command, but not the person who makes hte final decision is coming over today. I am going to talk to her about it, that way she can talk to the others about it too. Maybe if she is on my side they will be more wiling to see things my way.
